Thinking up new things to post on social media is a real pain in the arse. A pain made even worse by the fact that, for many of us, social media is where most of the leads come from. So, I’ve pulled together 4 simple, utterly stealable ideas you can pilfer. Gimme 3 minutes of your time and I’ll give you social media gold…

1.Reveal your origin story

Did I give this a dramatic title for no reason? Maybe. But who’s to say your business’s origin story isn’t dramatic? Talk about the reason you started your business — what’s your story? People bond with people not brands. Show yourself, your face, your voice, and your story. Knowing the story behind a brand and its reason for being can give people much more to love.

2. FAQ content

Your FAQs are social media gold, baybeeee. Go through your customer emails or the comments section under your videos and make responses to some of the most popular questions you’re asked about your products or services. It’s a great way to educate and could help move customers further down the sales funnel!

3. Deep dive on your products

Why did you choose to make a certain product? Why’ve you chosen this specific method or material? Is it based on anything? Reveal some of the magic behind your creations and the specific customer need they serve. Like the two post ideas above this one, it’s a fab way to educate customers and almost imbues your products with an extra layer of value.

4. Give creative context

This is a super effective social post idea because it helps the customer imagine themselves using the product or service — you’re showing them how it would fit into their lives. You’re giving them much-needed context, be that style inspiration, how to use the product as part of a daily routine, who might benefit from the product, etc, etc. You get the picture!
